Congratulations if you were in a GW Pharmaceuticals PLC (NASDAQ:GWPH) position anytime before today's open. Now get out. Not only is the party over for GWPH, there's something better you could do with your money now. It's a not-so-obscure-any-longer biotech called Arca Biopharma Inc. (NASDAQ:ABIO), and though the stock's up pretty nicely since two Fridays ago, ABIO is also just getting started.
First things first. Yes, GWPH is through the roof today on the heels of news that an analyst bumped up his price target on the stock after the drugmaker posted encouraging efficacy stats on an MS drug it's developing. There's such a thing as too much of something, though, and this is it. While GW Pharmaceuticals PLC may look red hot, where can it (the stock) go from here? All the potential good news is already packed into the stock's price; it's unlikely the company could follow up its recent news that would make the market any more excited than it already is. It is possible, however, the market could soon become less excited about GWPH than it currently is, and start the inevitable selling avalanche.

Advisors' Opinion:- [By Ben Levisohn]
Don’t believe me? Nucor (NUE), the underperformer of the bunch, has gained 12% during the past three months, more than four times the S&P 500′s 2.7% rise during the same period. AK Steel, meanwhile, has jumped 30%, Steel Dynamics (STLD) has climbed 37% and US Steel is up a whipping 81% during the past three months.
- [By Reuben Brewer]
Big U.S. steel makers like Nucor (NYSE: NUE ) , U.S. Steel (NYSE: X ) , and AK Steel (NYSE: AKS ) have long complained about foreign steel being dumped into the U.S. market. China has been one of the more contentious issues on that front. Although the Chinese government has said it wants to reign in its steel industry, it may have a harder time than it hopes.
- [By Rich Smith]
The $1.8 billion in sales that Steel Dynamics recorded in fiscal Q2 2013 were down about 5% from last year's Q2 sales of $1.9 billion. And with the average selling price for the company's steel dropping more than 8% per ton in comparison to last year's Q2, to $781, this hurt profits even worse. For comparison, rival mini-mill operator Nucor (NYSE: NUE ) reportedthis morning that its average selling prices for steel were only down 7%. With prices and sales both down on a diluted earnings-per-share basis, Steel Dynamics reported $0.13 profit -- down 38% from last year.

Advisors' Opinion:- [By James E. Brumley]
Back on September 24th I pointed out how Avalon Rare Metals Inc. (NYSEMKT:AVL) was a superior stock pick to Rare Element Resources Ltd (NYSEMKT:REE), even if only for short-term technical reasons. Either way, however, the rebound in the prices of most rare earth metals was going to be good for both REE and AVL. The one name conspicuously missing from the bunch, of course, was Molycorp Inc. (NYSE:MCP). Well, you can finally add MCP to the buy list as well. In fact, the different path it took to technical soundness may well make Molycorp the best pick of the bunch right now.

Rare-earth materials have been in a slump and the companies in that sector are no different. Molycorp (NYSE: MCP ) is down roughly 40% year to date, so the question remains: Is the stock finally cheap enough to buy. Furthermore, with the potential of a new rare-earth deposit in Wyoming going to competitor Rare Element Resources (NYSEMKT: REE ) , Molycorp faces several challenges.
